Cucumbers and courgettes up year on year
Veg-2-Gro plants continue to buck the trend of all plant sales and garden product sales, only dropping 8% on the same week last year. Cucumber and courgette plant sales grew by 9% on the same week last year.
The other main highlights this week were:
- Quantil Runner Bean White Emergo Strips clung on to the top spot.
- Quantil Tomato Alicante 8cm was th highest re-entry at No 12.
- Sweet Pepper Yellow Bell 8cm was the highest climber, jumping 24 places to No 19.
- W D Smith Strawberry 10cm was the highest new entry.
