Barrus are currently looking for a Merchandiser (based in the Home Counties – ideally around the areas of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire) to service their garden centres, specialist machinery outlets and many national and independent retailers.
The Range has opened three new concept superstores including ‘Garden Centres by Homebase’. The new outlets were at Birmingham Kings Heath, Pollokshaws and Christchurch.
‘Garden Centres by Homebase’ is being described as a fresh shopping experience, combining the exceptional product variety we’re known for with the quality plants and garden care of Homebase.
A spokesperson for The Range said: “This is part of our recent acquisition of the Homebase IP and our commitment to retail; blending trusted brands, preserving jobs and enhancing local economies.
“At the openings, we welcomed lots of excited customers, with the lucky first 50 in the queue able to take home a goody bag filled to the brim with The Range and Homebase products. All customers were able to meet and try products from select suppliers, including Dew, Delamere, Westland Gardens, Flymo, Sodastream, Burts Chips and Calor Gas - plus VIP (Very Important Pup) the Dulux Dog!
