Steady as she goes for Garden Products in February
February Top 50 Garden Product sales held their own during 2019 but didn’t see the rapid growth reflected in plant sales and growing media.
That’s no bad thing as our customers need to get growing first before they need the products that help them enjoy their gardens.
But is there an opportunity when footfall grows to sell more early bird offers and get instant customer satisfaction to drive increased repeat visits later in the year?
Clearly the warm weather has got some customers wanting to get a head start with plant feeds, weed control and patio cleaners increasing sales and coming back into the Top 50. Decorative lines and pot feet are still high-volume certs when it comes to Bestsellers though.
Woodlodge Pot Feet, Large, re-entered at No 40 joining the small pot feet in the chart which moved up to No 6.
Smart Solar Bonanaza Firefly Balloon, a new product entry at Glee, is the highest chart climber moving up 15 places to No 13.
Gardman Woven Weed Stop 1m x 2m Black increased sales by over 500% to re-enter at No 19.
