2014 has been a good year for the horticultural and landscaping industry, especially for Essex based Holland Landscapes.
Run by father and son, Chris and Paul Baker, Holland Landscapes have seen their business expand significantly. After such a good year, the company has had to grow with the demand they are receiving with a designer being their first appointment.
Chris Baker founded the company in 1988 and his son Paul, who is the Vice-chairman of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL), joined the company in 1999. Holland Landscapes have won 8 APL awards since 2001 including the prestigious Supreme Award in 2011.
Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength and has seen Kate Marshall MSGD join the Holland Landscapes team.
Kate Marshall (pictured) is a qualified and experienced designer. Since studying at Otley and Writtle College, Kate has been practicing garden design in Suffolk and Essex for the past 12 years. She works with her clients to create the garden they desire, whether that is large or small, formal or informal.
Paul Baker said: “Kate combines her creativity and experience with her client’s ideas to produce original, elegant and practical solutions. Her aim is to build beautiful gardens, which become treasured parts of the home, based on sound construction and horticultural knowledge. Each design that Kate produces is exclusive to Holland Landscapes and we are delighted that she has joined our team.”
