Wanted: exhibitors for Belvoir Castle's first flower show
Applications are being invited from potential exhibitors for the first flower show to be held in the grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire.
The Belvoir Flower & Garden Festival will take place on 14 and 15 July 2018 and will offer all those with a love of gardens and gardening in the East Midlands and East Anglia a floral destination for garden inspiration and shopping. Perennial, the horticultural charity, is the show’s inaugural beneficiary charity.
Applications are being invited for three types of exhibit:
Show gardens – to be staged outside. Plot sizes vary and all design ideas are welcomed.
Floral /Nursery Exhibits – to be staged in Belvoir Castle’s grand Lakeside Pavilion.
Trade Stands – garden related products to be staged outside.
Event organiser Andy Tudbury hopes the castle’s beautiful setting will prove attractive to nurseries, designers and garden trade businesses from East Anglia and the East Midlands. “There is a dearth of garden events in this part of the world but we hope to change this with the Belvoir Flower & Garden Festival and give all those with a love of gardening in this wonderful corner of the UK something to look forward to this summer,” he added.
Local artists have been booked to entertain visitors in the Music Zone and a range of food and refreshments will be offered in the Nourish Zone.
Tickets will go on sale to the public in January. Exhibitor enquiries should be made to Andy Tudbury by email or by phone 0115 968 0046 or 07713 029898.
