Caulders Garden Centres has reached a significant milestone with the opening of its tenth site, Caulders Linlithgow. This latest addition highlights the company’s continued growth and commitment to expanding its presence in Scotland while maintaining the high standards of horticultural excellence and customer experience for which it is known.
Colin and Mandy Barrie, owners of Caulders, have expressed their pride in this achievement. Colin Barrie commented, “When Caulders was founded, reaching double figures in the number of garden centres was never something we imagined. This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our fantastic team and the ongoing support of our loyal customers. We are also immensely grateful to Virgin Money, whose backing has enabled us to invest over £1 million into refurbishing Caulders Linlithgow, ensuring it meets the high expectations of today’s garden retail market.”
Located in Linlithgow, the site has undergone a substantial transformation, offering a comprehensive garden centre experience that includes a diverse range of plants, garden essentials, homeware, and gifts. As with all Caulders locations, a strong emphasis has been placed on creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to enjoy both retail and hospitality in equal measure.
Mandy Barrie added, “Caulders has always been about more than just selling plants—it is about creating an experience that blends gardening inspiration with a strong sense of community. Linlithgow is a fantastic location, and we are excited to bring the Caulders ethos to this new site.”

Caulders continues to strengthen its reputation as a leading independent garden centre group in Scotland, focusing on steady and sustainable growth while upholding the values that have driven its success for over two decades. The opening of the tenth centre marks a significant step forward, with further opportunities for expansion and innovation anticipated in the future.
