Thieves raided Kershaw's Garden Centre at Brighouse in the early hours of Tuesday morning, after smashing a fence and cutting through two locked gates.
They escaped with thousands of pounds worth of plants, pots, wood carvings and garden stoneware. Particular plants were selected, all high value, which led manager Mark Yates to speculate that the gang may have been stealing to order.
On making enquiries, it transpires that four other local nurseries and garden centres in the Calderdale Area have been raided in the past two weeks.
The gang at Brighouse used a grey Transit van, reg YB55XCR .
