A 34-year-old man was rescued by fire crews at Wyevale’s Windlesham Garden Centre in Surrey after falling and getting stuck between two shipping containers.

The man was believed to have fallen about two metres from the top of a container in Chertsey Tool Hire concession at the centre. He was reported to have ended up “upside down” and “almost horizontal” above some signs stored between the containers.

It took local fire and rescue service crews from Camberley 20 minutes to get him out and move him onto a spinal support stretcher before being taken to hospital for assessment.
