Darlac Appoints New Agent in Central England

Darlac, the cutting tools experts, have announced the arrival of Richard Bedingfield as an agent for the Central England area.

Commenting on the appointment, Darlac MD Tim Jeffries, said: “This continues a process aiming to give Darlac national sales coverage and follows the appointment of the Denholm Agencies last year to cover Scotland, Ireland and the north of England.

"Richard brings a wealth of experience to the company having been in the horticultural trade for most of his working life, starting at Ferndale Garden Centre in Dronfield as a 16-year-old Sunday lad.”

Richard took up his first sales representatives job in 2001 with Solus Garden & Leisure and spent 9 years there covering the East Midlands and then Yorkshire and followed this up with a role with Tom Chambers Ltd.

Richard started Bedingfield Agencies Ltd in March 2016 and now adds Darlac to an impressive list of gardening companies.

In his spare time, Richard is a keen sportsman and regularly plays football and squash. He likes a sporting challenge and last year completed the London Marathon while 3 years ago he completed a 300-mile cycle challenge over 4 days. Both events enabled him to raise over £1,500 for charity.
