Marathon walk to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support
Four women from Stratford Garden Centre – Liz, Julie, Caroline and Helen – will be walking 26 miles of the Northumberland Coast on Saturday, July 21, to raise monies for Macmillan Cancer Support.
"We all have very personal reasons for doing this walk and do so in memory of a family member, friend or colleague that have lost their life or are currently fighting this awful disease," said Helen Lloyd.
"If with your support we could just do a little something to help with future research and awareness of this horrible disease, so that others can be more knowledgeable, prepared and perhaps have a little longer with a loved one, it would mean so much to us all."
