Wyevale Nurseries’ 2027 promotional catalogue aimed at retailers has launched officially this week featuring an abundance of new introductions and a section dedicated to its Climate Champions.
The leading commercial grower has this season unveiled its catalogue, featuring its very best tried and tested promotional plants, so garden centre and retail buyers can plan ahead for 2027.
Managing Director at Wyevale Nurseries in Hereford, Andy Johnson, explains: “Our new full colour printed and digital catalogue is available now on request and includes 19 new British-grown introductions for garden centres to stock to help drive customer interest and meet demand, while also assisting with boosting footfall and sales next year.
“During the past 12 months, we have been working hard on consolidating our range and focusing production on the very best varieties we know will appeal to gardeners and will perform well. Our dedicated trials area allows us to assess new varieties and production regimes to ensure we deliver the best to market.”

The new Climate Champions section highlights plants selected for their contribution to biodiversity, pollinator support, carbon sequestration, drought tolerance, air quality improvement and water management. Featured varieties include Agapanthus, Ceanothus, Lavender, Nepeta, Perovskia, Phormium and Salvia.

She says: “I’ve chosen Pulmonaria Shrimps on the Barbie as my Top Pick for 2027. With rich coral to shrimp-pink flowers and attractive foliage that looks like it has been splashed with silver, it’s a real standout variety. Flowering from March, it brings welcome early colour to the garden, brightens shady areas and provides an important nectar source for pollinators emerging after winter. It’s exactly the sort of hard-working plant gardeners are looking for.”
Colin Stanley, Retail Sales Manager at Wyevale Nurseries, says his top pick for 2027 is another new addition to the range and a statement plant, Miscanthus Lady in Red.
