LC Packaging acquires Geerings Horticulture Products

LC Packaging, leading worldwide expert in packaging for industry and agriculture, has acquired Geerings Horticultural Products with immediate effect.
Geerings Horticultural Products has been one of the UK’s foremost suppliers of floristry, plant and horticultural packaging since 1903 and was purchased by LC Packaging to expand its range and the market sectors it serves.
Martin Schrooder, Managing Director LC Packaging UK, said: "This was an ideal combination, as both companies are family businesses and have a deep history in providing specialist packaging products. Bringing Geerings into the LC family allows us to improve our offer."

LC Packaging is a family-owned Dutch-based producer and distributor of packaging, with its own manufacturing sites for FIBC (big bags) and cardboard in Europe, Africa and Asia.
The company has over 90 years of experience, a turnover of 150 million euros, and approximately 1 000 employees. With sales offices and plants in 16 countries, LC Packaging specialises in on-time deliveries, from stock of tailor-made packaging products, to industry and agri businesses in Europe and Africa.
There is more than 70 000m2 warehouse space in its different locations. Its packaging is reliable, of consistent quality, competitively priced and meets all necessary certification standards.
