Growing up, up, up!

Whilst growing media sales volumes in April were down on last year by 12%, the year to date totals set a new record at the end of April, up 3% on the previous peak of 2021 and 24% up on pre-pandemic 2019 volumes. There really is a lot more growing going on.

Highlights of the week were:

  • Evergreen Garden Care Miracle-Gro Peat Free All Purpose 40 litres remained the highest volume Peat Free compost line last week at No 6 overall.
  • Westland Top Soil 30 litres sold higher volmes at No 4.
  • Altico Earth & Green Potting Grit was a new entry at 44.
