Manure leads the way for growing media sales
Despite the colder weather core gardening activity was up last week as growing media sales beat last year by 7.8%.
Big increases in manure sales led the way indicating that there is plenty of veg planting preparation going on in readiness for next year.
- Westland Gro-Sure Farmyard Manure, 50 litres, climbed 14 places up the chart to No 3.
- Growth Technology Houseplant Compost, 8 litres, was the highest re-entry at No 27.
- Bloomin Amazing Soil Enricher, 70 litres, saw the biggest percentage sales increase of the week to re-enter at No 28.
