GCA settle in at HTA offices

The Garden Centre Association have completed their re-location from Leafield in Oxfordshire to the HTA’s offices at Theale.

GCA chairman Peter Burks says the move will not affect the association’s independence. “We think it’s really important for the GCA and the HTA to work closely together to make the industry stronger. It makes a lot of sense for our two organisations to operate from the same premises,” he added. “We are looking forward to building on our relationship with the HTA going forward.”

The GCA, which represents nearly 200 garden centres, has a highly-respected standards inspection scheme, while the HTA, which represents growers and retailers, is dedicated to helping to develop the industry.

The GCA’s new address is: Horticulture House, 19, High Street, Theale, Reading, Berkshire, RG7 5AH. Tel 0118 930 8918. www.gca.org.uk
