Klondyke do the double in GCA Scotland region while Creative Gardens (Bushmills) wins in Northern Ireland

Garden Centre Association members in Scotland and Northern Ireland are celebrating after picking up awards during a presentation evening on Tuesday at Simpsons Garden Centre in Inverness. In Scotland, Klondyke Mortonhall Garden Centre (above) was awarded Garden Centre of the Year in the Destination Garden Centre (DGC) category and Klondyke Garden Wise, Dumfries in the Garden Centre (GC) category. In Northern Ireland, Creative Gardens, Bushmills received the GC accolade.

Perrywood wins big in North Thames region

Perrywood Garden Centres won multiple awards at the Garden Centre Association (GCA) North Thames Regional Awards and walked away with both top accolades. LOFA's marketing manager Gina Hinde, who organised this week's SOLEX exhibition, revealed that visitor numbers had increased by 5.42% from last year. She also announced that SOLEX 2024 would revert back to Tuesday to Thursday opening days (9-11 July 2024).
