Top 10 bestselling bedding plant changes

As we reach peak bedding season, a look back on past years’ Plants of the Week shows us that the Top 4 plant bestsellers have been the same since 2019 with Zonal Geraniums dominating sales ahead of Petunias and then Begonias only just outselling Tomato plants.

The Top 10 changes since 2019 are Lobelia, which has moved up each year to be the No 6 bestelling plant this year and Nemesias which have re-enterd the Top 10 after dropping out in 2021.

  • Last week the plants that had the highest percentage sales increase in the GTN Bestsellers Epos data were Nasturtiums, up 60% to be No 45 in the chart.
  • Platycodon’s were the highest re-entry at No 39.
  • Heucheras climbed nine places up the chart to No 40.
