Christmas comes early for Greenfingers thanks to Primeur’s latest fundraising donation

Primeur presented the Greenfingers team with a special fundraising cheque for a phenomenal £4,000 at the annual Garden Press Event on Wednesday, after raising money from the sales of the company’s Christmas Glitter Coir Doormat.

Primeur’s Christmas Glitter Coir Doormat only became available to stock in August 2019, with the company promising a £1 donation from the sale of each doormat to be given directly to Greenfingers.

The demand for this stunning festive product has not only demonstrated the strength and quality of Primeur’s product offering and the potential of seasonal gifting, but it has, more importantly, also showcased how products that support a charity can help to drive sales and raise much needed funds for the charity in question.

Primeur’s National Account Manager, Sarah McLafferty said: “We are absolutely over the moon to be able to present Greenfingers with a cheque for £4,000. This figure has far exceeded what we had anticipated raising in six months, and hope that the funds donated will go a long way in helping the charity to continue its amazing work by creating even more stimulating garden spaces that can bring many benefits to children with life-limiting conditions. We will certainly be looking at ways to continue to raise funds in this way, and to support Greenfingers long into the future.”

Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Greenfingers added: “We are so grateful to Primeur for this generous donation, and for its continued support.  Our charity relies on donations such as this, as well as the brand awareness that comes from similar partnerships. On behalf of Greenfingers and all the life-limited children and their families who enjoy time in the gardens we have created or are yet to create – thank you.”
