Zest to support two charities in 2026

Following an employee vote, Zest is to raise money for Tenovus Cancer Care and North Wales Wildlife Trust, in a joint commitment to both charities in 2026.

The initiative will see Zest employees participating in various fundraising activities throughout the year, including tackling Zip World Velocity - the world’s fastest zipline and longest in Europe - the West Cheshire 10K, a quarterly Steps Challenge, A Month Without, and the North Wales Coastal Path relay.  Zest has set a fundraising target of £10,000 for the year.

The announcement was made to coincide with Welsh Charities Week. Employees from across the business attended, alongside charity representatives Vicky Green, North Wales Regional Fundraising Manager at Tenovus Cancer Care, and Graeme Cotterill, Head of Strategy & Operations at North Wales Wildlife Trust.

Tenovus Cancer Care provides life-changing support to people affected by cancer across Wales, offering practical advice, emotional support and specialist services to individuals and families facing some of life’s most challenging moments.

North Wales Wildlife Trust works tirelessly to protect and restore the region’s natural environment, safeguarding wildlife habitats and green spaces so they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Zest’s Managing Director, Andrew Baker, commented, "We are delighted to be supporting Tenovus Cancer Care and North Wales Wildlife Trust this year. Both charities do incredible work in areas that resonate strongly with our teams. We’re looking forward to coming together once again to raise vital funds and dedicate volunteer hours to make a real difference in the community.

“This is set to be an incredible year of fundraising. Over the years, I’ve witnessed genuine teamwork, resilience and encouragement, with colleagues supporting one another to achieve something truly meaningful.

“Our fundraising is about more than simply raising money; it’s about building a culture of care, community and wellbeing. We strongly believe in the positive impact of spending time together, getting outdoors and taking part in shared experiences and challenges - not only for physical health, but for mental wellbeing too.”

Vicky Green, Regional Fundraising Manager (North Wales) at Tenovus Cancer Care, said: "We are incredibly grateful to have been chosen. The funds raised will help us continue providing vital support to people affected by cancer across Wales - whether that’s through our nurses, counselling services or community support. Fundraising partnerships like this make a real difference."

Graeme Cotterill, Head of Strategy & Operations at North Wales Wildlife Trust, added: "We are absolutely delighted that Zest has chosen the North Wales Wildlife Trust as one of its charities for 2026. This is a great opportunity for staff to come together and take part in local community wildlife projects.”

Since 2010, employees at Zest and the wider P&A Group have raised and donated more than £195,000 for a wide range of local and national charities, including MS Cymru, North Clwyd Animal Rescue, Dementia UK, British Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support, Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices, Cancer Research UK, Action for Children, Alzheimer’s Society, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Meningitis Now, and MIND.
