Corby + Fellas Ltd has announced that Gates Garden Centre, of Cold Overton near Oakham in Leicestershire, has recently updated its IT systems with the installation of WinRetail, the innovative and comprehensive EPoS and Retail Management package.
The system, installed in August 2021, brings the number of garden centre businesses using WinRetail to 50, operating in over 200 locations throughout the UK and Ireland.
Gates, a destination Garden Centre that is currently number 12 in the GCA top 150 garden centres, replaced an existing system with WinRetail to better handle the burgeoning needs of their business.
The new system is well able to handle the particular needs of Gates’ large farm shop, as well as its restaurant and coffee shop.
In addition, Gates are able to benefit from the use of WinRetail’s advanced Warehousing Module, which features a sophisticated ‘pack-tracking’ feature, giving the company precise control over the purchase, receipt, storage, movement, sales and distribution of stock.
To further increase the usefulness of WinRetail, the package was enhanced to include the new Order Delivery Visualisation program, which assists dispatchers in organising the delivery of customer’s sales orders in an efficient and timely manner.
