Four Communications LTD (Four) has been announced by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) as its new sponsorship consultants. The appointment was made after a competitive pitch process involving three other agencies. Four will be providing advice on the RHS’s current sponsorship proposition, identifying sponsors that are a best fit with the organisation’s brand and aspirations with a view to developing fresh and ambitious commercial partnership and reviewing the existing approach for current properties. Manuel Mascarenhas, Head of Corporate Partnerships said: “The appointment of Four Communications signals a significant gear shift in our approach to identifying and working with commercial partners.
"We are well-known for the Chelsea Flower Show, sponsored by M&G Investments and our challenge over the next few years is to create equally captivating partnership opportunities for our other assets – Hampton Court Flower Show; Tatton Park Flower Show; Britain in Bloom; and Campaign for School Gardening.
"Sponsors are already showing an interest in these properties, with Four’s help we hope to develop some strong and ambitious partnerships.” Rachel Clarke, Director of Sponsorship at Four Communications said: “Four has over 20 years’ experience of supporting high profile cultural intuitions to develop the strategies and approaches needed to secure meaningful and valuable commercial partnerships. We are excited to be working with the RHS to develop the next phase of its commercial portfolio.” For more information about the appointment contact Alex Russell, Associate Director at Four, on 44 (0)20 3697 4302 or alex.russell@fourcommunications.com
