Biggest-ever edition of Westland Garden Newspaper

Westland Horticulture has announced the forthcoming third edition of The Westland Garden newspaper. Set to be the largest yet, with 1.5 million copies being distributed across UK and ROI garden centres in March 2026.

This year’s edition features another celebrated household name: Dame Mary Berry, whose broadcasting career spans more than five decades. A passionate gardener, Dame Mary shares her love of roses and her own gardening insights, which has led her to write her own gardening book, which will be on sale in 2026.

As well as offering a mountain of practical advice and inspiration for the year ahead, readers will also find highlights from:

  • Michael Perry returns with his top picks for creating a climate-resilient garden
  • Sunday Times bestselling author, Anya Lautenbach, offers her top tips on how to propagate plants
  • Experts from Kew Gardens detail where some of our most beloved houseplants originate from and why it’s important to understand their natural environment
  • Award-winning designer Manoj Malde inspires the nation with how to be confident with colour in the garden
  • The Houseplant Doctor, Joe Bagley, shares advice on what plants work best in which rooms
  • The Bee Charity demonstrates how little acts of kindness can make a big difference to vital pollinators.

Written by leading horticultural journalists, the free 32-page newspaper aims to equip gardeners of all levels with seasonal guidance, from planting and sowing to pruning, feeding and watering. Ultimately, The Westland Garden helps everyone get the most from their outdoor spaces, allotments, patios and houseplant collections.

Keith Nicholson, Marketing Director, at Westland, commented: “With each edition of The Westland Garden we raise the bar, and last year’s feedback from our retail partners and gardeners was exceptional. Our mission is to inspire people to enjoy every part of gardening, from houseplants, to allotments, to beautiful containers. Readers will also learn how to maintain a beautiful, healthy lawn, including expert advice on selecting the right seed and providing proper grass care, both of which significantly influence overall lawn quality.”

“We’re thrilled with the calibre of contributors joining us for 2026, and the newspaper is packed with expert advice to help gardens thrive. We encourage our retail partners to place their orders now to guarantee supply for March 2026.”
