Small bags of compost once again see week on week sales increases and while overall Top 50 sales volumes have dipped off activity levels are still running significantly up on last year. Indoor planting for Christmas is driving some sales, while possible gift purchases could account for other boosts.

Star performers this week include:
  • Arthur Bowers Horticultural Grit Sand 20kg is the highest new entry at No 33.
  • Westland Bulb Planting Compost 20 litres is the highest re-entry at No 6.
  • Jack’s Magic could be in some Christmas stockings on Christmas Eve with the 40 litre pack jumping 8 places to No 7.
