Carry on growing your own

Sales of young winter veg plants, seed potatoes for Christmas and herbs, all provided a much welcome uplift in Veg 2 Gro sales last week.  The keenest of gardeners are clearly determined to carry on gardening depsite the extremes of the summer weather.  Overall Veg 2 Gro sales are still down on last year to date, but a good run of sales this autumn with an Indian summer should make up some of the lost ground from March and April.

  • Quantil’s young Leek plants were the highest new entry at No 8.
  • Taylors Autumn Planting Seed Potatoes, Duke of York, moved up one to be the No 1 Bestselling Veg 2 Gro line of the week.
  • The Healthy Herbs 6 Pot Carrier from Colour Gro moved up one place to No 4.
