Our client is a large Leicestershire nursery with a successful retail outlet selling quality plants grown on site to a loyal local customer base. It is staffed by knowledgeable horticulturists and very much has the customer in mind. Currently they are seeking a Plant Centre Supervisor to join the team in assisting the Manager in the day to day running and deputising for them in their absence.
The Job
The successful candidate will be a hands-on Supervisor within the retail nursery.
Daily duties will include:
- Providing an excellent standard of customer service.
- Ensuring that the plants are well displayed and in good condition.
- Assisting with incoming deliveries and merchandising stock.
- Answering the questions of customers and providing advice.
- Assisting in other areas of the business as requested.
The Person
All the staff in the nursery are keen plants people, so it is essential to have a good knowledge and a passion for horticulture. Good communication and customer service skills are also essential. Some training in horticulture would also be an advantage.To apply for this role click here
