Primeur Charity Day raises over £5,000 for Greenfingers

Primeur held their own Garden Re-Leaf Charity FUNdraising Day on Wednesday 22nd. Their grand total was a staggering £5200 which was raised with the help of lots of support from a number of their suppliers, colleagues and a contribution from Primeur.

Managing Director Jenny Douthwaite told GTN Xtra: "We are so grateful to all that took part in helping us raise this incredible total for Greenfingers!

The Charity Fun Day took place on site at their head office in Bingley, West Yorkshire, to help contribute to Garden Re-Leaf day and raise vital funds for a worthy cause very close to their hearts, Greenfingers charity.

The fun day included carnival type games and raffles with many great prizes available. A selection of food and drink were available for the Primeur team to buy at lunch including a BBQ and a bake sale, helping fuel them for the highly anticipated treasure hunt!

"First place won a day’s holiday so you can imagine the competitiveness and seriousness taken!" Added Jenny.

"Contributions from local businesses included generously donated prizes and money towards the cause. After a fabulous day, a total of £5200 was raised”
