Colour and heat shines through in plant sales
Summer colour and heat tolerant plants continue to shine through for plant sales. Last week’s volumes were down on last year but ahead of 2017 levels.
- Antirrhinum were the highest re-entry into the GTN Top 50 Plants chart, at No 17.
- Delphiniums also re-entered, at No 20 .
- Sedum were the highest chart climber, moving up 15 places to No 34.
- Echinacea and Digitalis also re-enterd the charts at Nos 36 and 40, with sales that doubled week on week.
All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 15.7%. Year to date vs 2018 DOWN 6.6%, vs 2017 UP
