Piles of pumpkins will be making the perfect Halloween haven at Webbs Garden Centre at Wychbold for youngsters on half-term holidays.
Over 1,500 pumpkins will be delivered to Webbs, Wychbold ready for special hands-on pumpkin workshops.
Crowds of children are expected to flock to the popular annual workshops which take place every day from Monday, 26th to Saturday, 31st October. New for this year are timed sessions from 10.30am – 12noon; 12.30pm – 2pm and 2.30pm – 4pm, and booking in advance online is highly recommended.
Children will be able to don an apron and scoop out a pumpkin ready for a Webbs’ staff member to carve a Halloween face. Tickets are just £5 per child to include a pumpkin and battery tea light.
For outdoor fun, a trail will lead youngsters on a path of discovery through the Riverside Gardens at Webbs. The free trail is open from Saturday, 24th October – Sunday, 1st November from 11 am - 4 pm and all the correct entries will go into a prize draw.
Youngsters will also be entertained during the week with children’s fair rides and face painting, at a small charge.
Chairman Ed Webb said: "We have piles of pumpkins ready and waiting as the workshops are always very popular. The youngsters can’t wait to get stuck in and have something creative to show at the end of it.”
