Repetition and education drives add-on sales at Sunshine
Repetition and education were the among the key learnings from Sunshine Garden Centre’s Rising Stars finalist Jack Fillingham.
One of the products included in his projects was Empathy Rootgrow, which makes occasional entries into the GTN Bestsellers Garden Products chart.
By increasing signage and availability around the planteria and by educating staff from all departments about the benefits of Rootgrow, Sunshine saw a 49% increase in sales. Jack said: “Everyone of those Rootgrow sales is extra money going into the till, it’s a real add-on sale.”
