Following developments in the garden sector earlier in 2014, Stax Trade Centres who have over 30 years of experience and expertise selling garden products, look back on a year which saw them significantly scale up their garden operations culminating in them now carrying their largest ever range in their biggest ever catalogue.
Stax have also committed to continue strengthening both their delivered and cash and carry service in 2015 and invest even further in their infrastructure, building on their team of 17 experienced garden sales representatives and further developing their online ordering systems. The wholesaler has recently added to their fleet of delivery vehicles, invested in the latest state of the art sales order processing technology and introduced a night picking service at their 6 delivery hubs to ensure that they can continue to meet demand.
Stax Joint Managing Director, David Hibbert commented, “2014 has been an exceptionally busy year for Stax, as the garden sector has continued to grow whilst we have also seen one of the most established suppliers leave the market place.
As a business we have placed a heavy focus on supporting independent retailers to ensure those that are joining us do so seamlessly whilst we continue to serve our existing customers with the same level of service and stock availability that they have come to expect from Stax.”
This point is illustrated further by Simon Wright who concludes, “We have a stock holding of in excess of £20 million at any one time and have worked closely with our suppliers to ensure that any disruption in service is minimal for those making the transition to us. Our long established relationships, highlighted by the fact that we are one of only two official distributors of Scotts Miracle-Gro and Bayer products, ensures that we are perfectly positioned to continue to support the distribution of garden products nationwide.”
Stax have also just launched their 2015 Gardening Catalogue, the biggest to date and 30% larger than the previous edition.
Stax Purchasing Director, Simon Wright, commented, “With over 75 top branded ranges in the collection from over 60 suppliers, this is our largest ever Garden catalogue featuring over 2,500 products. The catalogue is accompanied by an electronic price list assisting retailers to order either online via the Stax website, via their dedicated rep or by fax.”
Garden Centres who are not currently registered with Stax or retailers looking to receive a copy of the 2015 Gardening Catalogue can contact their local branch or area representative via the Stax website. www.staxtradecentres.co.uk/sales-representatives
