“Having dealt with Solus and their predecessors, Gibbs Palmer, as our only wholesaler since 1983, I find this particularly sad, not only for the team of people at Solus, but particularly for the Yealland Family. Simon Yealland was so supportive of us over the last three decades. What  they have had to endure over recent years is truly unfair. My thoughts are with Simon and Sue right now.

The trade will survive, it will adapt, as it always has done and will continue to do so.

In fairness, Solus is not as critical a supplier as it was even five years ago. We will continue to do business with them until we know more about what the future holds. Meanwhile the spring continues to be the best for many years. That’s ironic."
