Our client is one of the fastest growing new Garden Centre Groups in the UK. This young and exciting brand are seeking a Deputy Manager / Plantarea Manager to join one of their new outlets in Worcestershire and provide support to the Centre Manager.
The Centre delivers a great retail experience, and has a wide product range to include plants, house plants sundries, and furniture (to name a few). Your centre will be competing against other centres across the country, and working closely with your Manager, you will help drive your centre to become the top performer.
The Role
Key expectations are:
- Briefing staff daily on the key tasks and ensuring their knowledge is updated around each seasons product lines.
- Ensuring excellent customer service across the teams.
- Coordinating stock ordering and ensuring POS and merchandising is optimised.
- Deal with day to day cashing up and petty cash.
- Manage staff rotas, one to ones and development.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must have worked within a retail environment and hold some line management experience. You will be leading the Planteria team so horticultural knowledge is essential. You will also need to be flexible to work alternate weekends and additional key weekends.
