Luke Hopkins joins Ascalon

Ascalon Design is delighted to announce the appointment of Luke Hopkins as Senior Sales Manager Europe.

Having first been involved with Ascalon during his time at Van Hage over 10 years ago, Luke is excited to channel his enthusiasm for the brand into his new role, and to share his passion for Ascalon’s products with both existing and new customers.

Luke will be overseeing Ascalon’s busy sales team, with overall responsibility for trade sales across the UK and Europe. With over 14 years’ experience in the industry, he will be well-known to many of Ascalon’s customers from his time at Charbroil, Landmann Group and Van Hage, as well as his ongoing role on the Board of the LOFA, of which Ascalon is a member.

Ascalon Sales & Marketing Director Minty Stokes-Rhys comments: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Luke joining our team to allow us to better support and look after our customers, as well as to welcome new ones. His enthusiasm for Ascalon is infectious and he aligns closely with our core mission to offer beautiful and inspiring furniture and decor products at competitive prices to an industry and customer base we are passionate about.”

For over 30 years, Ascalon Design has been at the very forefront of the design and development of wrought iron garden furniture, structures, garden giftware, and festive decorations in the UK market. Characterised by a distinctive elegance and classic style which has spawned endless copies around the world, our design-led products can be found in homes and gardens across the UK.

We have successfully launched over 40 ranges of garden furniture, alongside a huge number of arches, gazebos, gates and trellises. To this, we have also added a wide range of giftware items, including countless decorative planters, outdoor mirrors, lanterns, plant stakes, and much, much more. Our best-selling selection of seatpads and benchpads includes a range of styles in over 30 distinct colourways.
