Pelargonium (including bedding geraniums) sales doubled last week to take them to the No 1 most popular plant of the first Easter week in 2019.
Overall plant sales grew by 29% week on week but fell short of that same week last year by 15% when we had the first big plant sales week of the season.
Plant sales figures for the second Easter week, including Easter Monday, will really show us where we are vs the last two years.
All Plants volume sales change: Week on week UP 29.4%. Year to date vs 2018 UP 13.9%, vs 2017 DOWN 1.8%.
