For the first time, British Garden Centres exhibited at the show to promote the brand and show that all visitors are likely to have a local BGC nearby.
Charles Stubbs created the display with the team filling impressive pots from Woodlodge with a selection of perennials, annuals and shrubs in a mix of blue, white and pink.
Libby Stubbs says around 70% of the plants for sale and on display have come from BGC nurseries, providing the flexibility to choose plants looking at their best for the show.
“We’ve always wanted to come to more shows to get our name out there a bit more and raise awareness of the brand,” says Libby. “We have started to do more smaller, local shows and our ambition is to do something big at Chelsea.”
British Garden Centres will have a similar display at the RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse, South Yorkshire, from 16-20 July.
