No need to fill the gaps

Mid-August plant sales dipped to a 4-year low last week with total sales volumes reported in the GTN Bestsellers Epos data analysis more akin to sales levels in either February or November.

With the great growing weather we’ve had this summer everyone’s gardens must be looking great so there’s not the need to fill gaps or start planting in earnest for autumn.

  • Chrysanthemums  make their annual appearance at the top of the GTN Bestsellers chart.
  • Platycodon were the big movers up the chart climbing 16 places to No 7.
  • Viola make their first chart appearance of the late summer and autumn season, back in at No 11.
