Glee goes Floral Thursday for Greenfingers

Glee went Floral Thursday today in support of Greenfingers Charity. The event, supported by Garden Trade News, saw exhibitors and visitors to Glee joining in the fun by wearing an array of floral clothing throughout the day.

All those taking part were asked to support the charity by buying a raffle ticket which was entered into a prize draw to win fabulous prizes.

The winners of The Greatest Floral Thursday Team Awards who received awards on stage were:

Evergreen Garden Care – Keeping up the standards set by them since the first Floral Thursday at Glee in 2019.

WHM Petcare (Marriages) - Colourful sunflower co-ordination including this summers must have accessory - a floral bucket hat.

Sipcam - Bespoke brightly coloured shirts with branding included.

AMES - The biggest co-ordinated floral team at Glee 2023, with great Floral Thursday graphics on the back of branded polos, and for entering into the fun of the day with a Man City style "Posnan".

Also announced was The Greatest Sustainable Floral team Award, which went to Zest, for re-using the same shirts as last year!

A total of £2,130 was raised for Greenfingers on Thursday at Glee.

And, the World Record for people at Glee wearing floral attire on the same day was definitely broken too!
