Garden structures and fencing supplier Grange has appointed Neil Taylor as its new Managing Director following the retirement of Duncan Hill.

Neil has a 33 year track record in sales, marketing and general management in the automotive components, refrigerated transport and fire and security industries in the UK and internationally.  He was most recently with Halma PLC, following 13 years with United Technologies Corporation, where he was latterly MD of Chubb Fire Ltd. 

Neil said he has always enjoyed working with manufacturing companies which combine heritage, operational excellence, market leadership and quality brands.  “Grange is no exception and I look forward to evolving the company to its full potential through strategic development, employee engagement and an increased emphasis on sales and marketing.  There are some very exciting opportunities ahead for both Grange and its customers, which will come to fruition within the next two to three years.”

The Grange portfolio includes fencing, decorative garden structures, gates and fixings including Metpost, either direct from dockside or sourced through traditional design and specification routes.
