Garden Product sales up slightly in October

Garden Product Top 50 sales held their own in October, year on year, but are still on a downward trend over the past four years.

As usual the first serious frosts and dark early evenings resulted in increased sales of fleece and garden lighting.

Highlights of week 43 (week ending October 28) were:

  • Woodlodge Small Pot Feet remain at No 1 for a second week.
  • The Smart Eureka! Zone Multi-Light Grey climbs up 34 places to No 2.
  • Gardman Frostgard 17gsm 8m x 1.5m roll moves up 24 places to No 6.

The first week of November saw big increases in lighting sales, including torches, and fleece lines while there was a change at the top of the chart with a seasonal garden decoration line from Vivid Arts flying up to take the No 1 perch.

Highlights of week 44 (week ending November 4) were:

  • Vivid Arts Plant Pals Robin On Stick moves up to No 1.
  • Tildenet 1.5m wide Fleece is a new entry at No 5.
  • Creative Products Zoom Torch also debuts in the Top 10.
