The Leisure & Outdoor Furniture Association (LOFA) brought members together on 26–27 May for its annual Golf Event at The Oxfordshire Golf, Hotel & Spa, a venue near Thame, Oxfordshire with an 18-hole championship course in the Chilterns.
With the sun shining, the two-day event combined friendly competition with valuable networking time for brands and industry partners from across the outdoor living sector.

Day 1 saw Dometic’s Paul Smith crowned Best Individual, with LOFA Honorary Member Paul Facey taking the runner-up spot. The Best Team of Four title went to Paul Smith (Dometic), Iain Mercer (Associate Member), Martin Sobey (Napoleon) and Richard Newton (Woodlodge), with second place awarded to Sven Ledrich (Enders), Steve Morgan (Zest Outdoor Living), Pravin (Honorary Member) and Nigel Hampson (Garden Impressions). On-course prizes were also keenly contested, with Nearest the Pin going to Alwyn Williams (Zest Outdoor Living) and Phil Wood (Dometic), and the Longest Drive claimed by Richard Newton (Woodlodge).

On Day 2, the Best Team of Four prize went to Paul Clews (Hex), Sven Ledrich (Enders), Paul Smith (Dometic) and guest player Pearl Mercer. Nearest the Pin accolades were awarded to Associate Member Iain Mercer and guest golfer James Whitley, while the Longest Drive prize went to Hex’s Neil Lafford.
Commenting on the event, LOFA Chairman and host Alwyn Williams said: “Our annual golf event is a fantastic opportunity for members to step away from day-to-day business, reconnect with colleagues and enjoy some friendly competition on a first-class course. It was great to see such a strong turnout again this year, and I’d like to thank everyone who joined us and contributed to a memorable two days.”
