Squire’s charity bike ride raises £310 for Momentum
Staff at Squire’s Garden Centre took on a static bike challenge to raise money for the charity “Momentum”. They cycled 88 miles between them on static bikes at the centre, which is the total distance between all of Squire’s 15 garden centres in the South East. A total of £310 was raised for Momentum – St. Peter’s Hospital, which is Squire’s Long Ditton’s chosen charity of the year. Momentum is a local charity that supports children with cancer and life-limiting conditions, and their families. Deputy chairman Sarah Squire commented: “We are delighted to support Momentum, and make our customers more aware of this wonderful local charity. Squire’s staff at Long Ditton chose Momentum as their charity of the year.
"We hope to be able to donate a generous amount to them throughout the year, with thanks to our customers.”
