For over 25 years Premier Decorations has been synonymous with Christmas. From humble beginnings the company has been developed and grown to become recognised as the market leader in supplying Christmas lights, trees and decorations to a broad range of retailers in the UK and Ireland. This recognition has resulted in Premier being voted Christmas Supplier of The Year for an unprecedented 3 years in a row in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Premier are a “One-Stop-Shop” for all Christmas ranges from lighting to tapestries, ribbons and bows to baubles, fibre optics and trees and floristry.
They have created an extremely strong infrastructure that supports all elements of the business, from new product development, design and buying, to sales and distribution. All departments combine to achieve the objective of supplying the best possible products at the best conceivable price whilst maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
2013 has been another extremely successful year for Premier. It was clear in January that Christmas sales had been buoyant in 2012 and trade customers were able to order optimistically for Christmas 2013. Orders taken for all core lines especially Supabright™ LED light sets were showing significant increases. LED Cluster lights and Snowing Icicles have been a definite favourite this year as have the Outdoor Battery Operated LED Timelights™. Tapestries and Fibre Optics were also a big hit in 2013. Premier’s large offering was extremely well received primarily due to their Tapestry range featuring a 6hrs on / 18hrs off Timer and a jack socket so the items can be illuminated for longer periods of time with a transformer.
For 2014 many new and exciting products have been developed and sourced by Premiers team of designers and buyers. LED Supabrights™ and battery operated Timelights™ will offer new opportunities. Several innovative promotions are being developed for 2014 and exciting developments are planned for the Laser Light range that will include new indoor party lasers and light and an exciting range of outdoor product. There will also be the launch of exclusive licensed Fibre Optic Tapestries from UK artists which Premier expects will lead to a further growth in sales for one of this year’s most popular ranges.
Packaging is always being advanced by the Packaging and Design Department with the aim of ensuring that all packaging follows the latest trends and requirements. Premiers’ range of 2014 Lit Villages will benefit from stunning new packaging in 2014.
More items are now being supplied in CDUs and many of these have try-me buttons incorporated so illuminated items can be easily demonstrated in-store. A large range of fully stocked Free Standing Display Units have been developed for ranges such as LED Connectables, Flexibrights™ and Timelights™.
Premier continues to focus on all elements required to create a successful and forward thinking organisation. This is not limited to remaining competitive in terms of pricing but also includes QR codes linked to product videos, continuing to focus efforts on offering unrivalled service levels, innovative packaging and great customer relations.
