Tee-off for great cause at GIMA Charity Golf Day

Get ready to hit the fairways for an unforgettable day of golf, networking, and charity at the forthcoming GIMA Charity Golf Day 2025 (Thursday 5th June). This eagerly awaited annual event brings together colleagues, customers, and friends for a fantastic day of friendly competition, whilst also raising vital funds for the Greenfingers Charity.

Taking place once again at the stunning Belton Woods Golf, Spa and Hotel in Grantham, this event is the perfect blend of sport, camaraderie, and philanthropy. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself on the course, strengthen business relationships, a enjoy a great day out or support a worthy charity, this is a must-attend occasion.

The tournament follows a four-ball team format with a two-tee start and plenty of on-course challenges to keep things exciting. Expect fierce competition in contests like Longest Drive, Nearest-the-Pin, and the Vitax-sponsored Yellow Ball Challenge. Plus, new for this year, introducing the Best Dressed Team Award – so bring your style as well as your skills! And if that’s not enough, you’ll also have the chance to take on the hole-in-one challenge, with an incredible car prize up for grabs! Finally, watch out as 2024 winners, Hex Living, will be back to defend their title.

Beyond the golf course, there’s plenty to look forward to. Enjoy a welcome bacon buttie, refuel with on-course refreshments, and celebrate the day’s successes with a post-round buffet and awards ceremony. This year the prize fund is bigger than ever, including exclusive hamper prizes courtesy of some generous garden centre supporters.

Why take part?

This isn’t just about golf - it’s about making a real difference. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Greenfingers Charity, helping them to create even more beautiful, therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices across the UK. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to network with industry peers, meet new customers, and strengthen relationships in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

Sponsorship opportunities available

Want to showcase your company in front of key industry players, then why not consider joining the day as a sponsor? Sponsorship packages start from just £250, providing excellent exposure for brands within the garden retail sector. From hole sponsorships to competition prizes and hospitality, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

There is also opportunity to donate a prize to the raffle so do reach out to the team if it is of interest.
