Winter flowering plants made a significant sales move last week as temperatures dropped and gardeners start to look forward to Spring type colours in the garden to cheer them through winter.
Planted Narcissus were a re-entry last week, with sales shooting up rapidly to be at No 24.
Crocus were also a re-entry at No 39.
At the top of the chart, Primula sales grew to leapfrog Pansy sales and be the second bestselling plant of the week behind Cyclamen.
All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 13.4%. Year to date vs 2018 DOWN 6.6%, vs 2017 UP 0.7%.
