Each online plant purchase made via Thompson & Morgan’s website will soon be accompanied by the newly developed SmartPlant ‘button’. One click and a customer will receive automated monthly care reminders and a wealth of information and expert support from the SmartPlant app.
This significant partnership sees the awarding-winning SmartPlant app extending Thompson & Morgan’s customers’ experience beyond each purchase; giving access to enhanced plant descriptions and hundreds of horticultural experts around the clock, as well as ongoing plant care instructions via push notifications.
Customers can simply click on the SmartPlant ‘button’ on their online order confirmation to activate their personal SmartPlant account, automatically adding their new plant purchase. This notable feature adds value to online plant sales and gives consumers additional confidence in caring for their plants and an enhanced user experience beyond their purchase.
Thompson & Morgan will be able to offer discounts and promotions to accompany monthly care notifications via the SmartPlant app, further improving customer retention and sales. SmartPlant offers unprecedented insights into consumer preferences and buying patterns.
