Garden Centres have been working with their local communities to help with appeals for Ukraine refugee supplies and some are even creating their own fundraising events and activities including donating all proceeds from sales of Peace roses at ISE Garden Centre near Kettering.
Elsewhere, the response to an appeal at Baytree Garden Centre was so great they had to move the collection point to Weston Church, where a team of volunteers were on hand to sort the donations into various lots prior to shipping.
At Okells Garden Centre, top picture, they have promised to match donations up to £5,000 to double the impact.
And Bonnetts Garden Village is sending a lorry load of aid to Ukraine.
