As the heat of the Veg-2-Gro market dissipates, young bean plants take over at the top of the GTN Bestsellers chart with winter green plants starting to sell through in volumes.  

Star performers include:

• There are three Quantil bean varieties in the Top 5 – Runner Bean White Emergo (No 1), Climbing French bean (No 2) and French Dwarf Bean (No 5).
• The highest climber is Sweet Pepper Red (8cm), which has jumped 22 places to No 10.
• The highest re-entry is Red Cabbage at No 15, and the highest new entry is Wild Rocket at No 30.
• Other newcomers to the chart are Bean Borlotto Lingua di Fuoco, Frilly Salad Leaf Mix and Suttons Lettuce Mix.
