Specialist hedgehog food brand adds to range

Specialist hedgehog food brand, Spike’s, has launched a new food for wild hedgehogs that is packed with nutrition.

Spike’s Scrummy Meaty Supper is the latest addition to the extensive Spike’s hedgehog food range.

The 100% natural product contains no artificial flavours or colours and has no added sugar, making it the perfect complementary food for garden visitors.

Michael Haigh, brand manager at Spike’s, commented: “With a decrease in the hedgehog population by about 46% over the last 13 years, consumers are seeing the importance of feeding wildlife now more than ever before.

"Spike’s Scrummy Meaty Supper is a highly nutritious food and the high moisture content helps support hydration which is key to hedgehog survival throughout spring and summer.

“The new addition to the range is highly palatable making it a great food for hoglets and fussier hogs and fed regularly it will encourage hedgehogs to visit your garden, helping them survive in the modern day urban habitat that we live in today.”

Made with fresh chicken for added protein, Spike’s Scrummy Meaty Supper can is a great extension to the wildlife food range – RRP £1.49, 395g.
