Suttons grafted toms break Quantil chart stranglehold...just
Tomatoes continue to dominate the Veg-2-Gro chart, claiming 20 of the Top 50 young plant lines. Our data shows that for the second week running Quantil young plants are still outselling all others. Only Suttons manage to break this week’s monopoly, with two grafted tomato lines.  The week’s top performers include:
* Peas 8cm, the highest new entry at No 23. * Chilli Pepper Scotch Bonnet (left) up 36 places, from No 50 to No 14 - Sweetcorn Extra Sweet, climbing 21 places to No 28.
Overall, year-to-date Veg-2-Gro chart volumes are a massive 31.7% up on 2013 and almost 7% ahead of last year, testimony to the buoyancy of the young plants category this season, when many gardeners may have found it too cold in unheated greenhouses to raise their own from seed.
