Flower Council of Holland becomes Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland

In its 45th anniversary year, Flower Council of Holland has taken the strategic step to continue its activities under a new name: Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland.

The organisation says the name reflects its focus – flowers and plants – and is internationally recognisable. Parallel to this, it is launching a new digital platform which will be available in multiple languages from early July.

The new platform and name will offer a number of important advantages:

  • Higher international visibility thanks to a single strong and recognisable name.
  • More efficiency through combined websites and social media channels.
  • Broader reach via a single central platform and smart use of AI technology.
  • Flexibility and scalability thanks to a platform that evolves with the sector both technically and in relation to content.

Managing Director Yvonne Watzdorf highlights the added value of the change: “We are paving the way for a recognisable and more visible profile, greater efficiency, international consistency and a stronger connection between our activities and the horticultural sector as a whole. This will in turn enable us to contribute more actively to the visibility, innovation and growth of the sector.”
